Sean & Brian Farrell with some of the collectors presenting a cheque to Seamus McCabe from PIPS Hope & Support. More monies were donated after the presentation bringing the total to £5174.39

A total of £5174.39 was raised via a street collection last Christmas Eve in honour of Stephen Farrell and his father John.

Sean and Brian Farrell held a street collection on the Camlough Road, Newry on Christmas Eve 2017 supported by many of their family members, friends and neighbours. Despite the cold and blustery wintry conditions on the day, the public donated generously to the suicide prevention Charity PIPS Hope & Support (Formally PIPS Newry & Mourne).

Now an annual event the combined total collected over the 5 years is £23,040.89

With many friends, family members and neighbours helping out, Sean & Brian on behalf of the Farrell family, would like to thank everyone who collected on the day, to those who contributed so generously and to everyone who supported them in any way.

PIPS Hope & Support would also like to express our grateful thanks and appreciation to the Farrell family and everyone involved. Additional monies were donated after our presentation photograph bringing the total to £5174.39.
