The Newry and Mourne DCD/Dyspraxia group will mark Dyspraxia Awareness week (8th to 14th October) with an information stand in the Quays Shopping Centre in Newry this Saturday 14th October from 11am to 4pm.
Anyone concerned with any aspect of DCD/Dyspraxia is invited to come along on Saturday and speak to one of the group’s representatives who will be there on the day raising awareness of the condition which is thought to affect up to 3 children in every classroom.
On Thursday 12th October Newry and Mourne DCD/Dyspraxia group presents Alliance Youth works in the Abbey Grammar school at 7.15pm to 8.30pm.
The group will work with children from 5 to 18 years old in a number of games and projects to improve social interaction, confidence building and self-esteem. This will be a great night for the children, teenagers and parents.
The group welcomes all new and existing members and children and their siblings to this wonderful event which promises to be great fun for children and adults alike. Refreshments will be served on the night.
