Eileen Jackson’s appearance on RTE and National Lottery game show, Winning Streak has been a long time coming as the lucky 63 year old has never missed an episode since the show began, in September 1990!
Eileen is from Newry, Co Down and comes from a huge family so she will be busy picking who will come on the bus to cheer her on in RTE studios this weekend. For example she is from a family where she is one of 11 children and all of her siblings, with the exception of her sister Pauline, who will be watching from Brussels in Belgium.
Eileen is a retired teacher, she took early retirement almost 10 years ago, after teaching for 31 years at Southern Regional College, Newry. In retirement she kept herself busy volunteering for her local GAA club, John Bosco GAA in Newry and for Gateway club for people with special needs. Nowadays she is a full-time carer for her 91 year old father Peter, who will be in the studio for Winning Streak.
Eileen has two loves: shopping and travel and she plans on putting any funds won on Saturday towards these two pursuits, preferably both at the same time as she plans to take a shopping holiday to New York City! She also plans to buy a new car with her winnings as her current one is for the scrap heap!
